cats or no cats 94 ls400
I have a 94 ls400 that I have owned for a few years now. Today is the first time it wouldn't start. I have been having problems lately with the car stalling and sputtering and loosing power once it warms up. The check engine light blinks on and off as it is acting up. well to day it wouldn't start so I got crazy and took off my front two cats,( im under the impression that there are three although the center rear one is quite differenrt looking) I did tis because I have been doing some homework on the syptoms that I had experienced. Well when I did this the car fired right up. Of course I have no intention of driving it in this state. However it was the only way that I could think to check the cats. Anyways it started and not only that the check engine lite went out. so what I need to know is if I can remove the cats completely. I have read that you could until 96 models. However I know they were made with the intention of having them so I figured I would ask my self
