I've heard of them, a past member ordered them for his car but we've not heard how much drop, ride qualities, etc. My suggestion is buy a known spring like the Tanabe or if you can find the H&R or Eibach.

they were pretty well regarded back in the day but they've been off market for easily over 5 years...

they were a serviceable option back then, when tanabe and H&R weren't selling springs here. Eibachs were better regarded back then, and still are now (albeit discontinued).

well, I just found a set of these 'California Custom Parts' spring set, actually found out they were produced by Eibach. Threw em on today. Box says its a 2" drop. Hopefully when the ride settles it'll sit a little lower. I'll post up pics soon...

uhh you may want to call Eibach on that, afaik CC made everything in-house since they did a lot of (at the time) oddball fitments.

I bought a set awhile back, same seller on craigslist, a shop that looks to have bought out CC when they went under or something like that. He's trying to move the rest of the springs he has as well as a pretty ugly body kit for the 1LS. Pleasant to deal with and I had him ship me mine, same claims about it being made by Eibach, which is possible and I tend to believe since he's privy to who the supplier/manufacturer is because he bought the company out.

Anyway, I installed them with KYB GR2 shocks and new strut mounts as well, handles and rides fine, looks great at that height. Can't compare to others like Eibach (had, but never installed) or Tanabe or any coils, but compared to the stock 230k stuff that was on there, a noticable improvement. Stock shocks and strut mounts weren't even that bad looking to be honest.

Hope the OP doesn't mind me posting these.
1st pic was right around the time they were installed. Other pics are with the stock wheels and then some with the chrome SC430s I threw on. The SC430s have oversized high profile tires and do slightly scrape at full lock. Not the best of pics but all I had on my iphone. Gives you an idea of where it sits.
