Default Strange Feeling

I'd like to know if anyone else has had a problem similar to mines. My 90LS has a strange feeling when driving between 40 & 50 miles per hour. It feels as if the car is hesitating or jerking. any speeds under or over , the car feels fine. Does anyone out there have any ideas as to what this might be. It's really driving me nutty. Any help would be appreciated

Please be more detailed..

It could be many things. I think from what you're mentioning is a common problem for some LS drivers.

I've had a similar experience, but in order to better single out the problem I'd ned to know how it happens..when accelerating? or when you let off the gas? when it happens- when the engine is cold or warm? Does it happen when the ECT power is on? Try driving your car with the overdrive off (button pushed in so light on dash is on) and see if the same thing happens (don't go above 85 mph with o/d off).

I'd love to help solve this, as I and some others have had a similar problem (I think)..

Default Strange Feeling

the problem seems more pronounced when the car is warm. I have tried turning the overdrive off and I still feel the same sensation. I haven't tried the ECT but I will try it tmw. I don't feel the problem when giving it gas, just when driving a steady pace between 45 & 50. Thanks agin for your help

Default Same problem

I have a 95' LS and it has the same problem. when i drive around 40-50 mph and release the gas pedal, it seems like the car doesn't flow like it should. it jerks a little bit. it used to be worse so i had my transmission fluid and rear diff. fluid changed that helped a bit but i still am not happy the way my car does that. if anybody has the same problem and got it solved, pls. keep us updated. it seems like this happens to a lot of LS's owners. has anyone ever talked to the mechanic at the Lexus Dealer?? or any experienced mechanic??
Thank you and happy Thanxgiving!!
