I prefer to make my own better ones, for a lot less. Usually i go to my local hw store and buy their best AC filter to chop up.

Replaced my power steering fluid (Dexron III) this afternoon via the "suck n fill " method (used a hand pump and 2 quarts of fluid), man what a difference it made -- much smoother and I can turn the wheel with one finger. I will check the fluid color in a few days to see if it stays nice n red. If not I will do it again.
Learned a ton from this forum. Thank you everybody for sharing all the knowledge.
I also changed my cabin using the furnace filter method.
Next in line is flushing the break lines. Fluid looks a little dark.

I actually went to see that silver 2000 LS you bought in Naperville but the dealer would not budge on the price -- so I walked away. I'm glad I did since I saved myself $4000 and I got a car that was a California car most of its life, navi, better wheels and my preferred exterior color.

I work in Waukegan so you're very close.

The Lexus dealer in Naperville wanted $10K for the silver 2000 LS400 and per salesman that was their "Internet price" so it was the lowest price -- not a penny less.
Unless we are asking about a different car.

I too just picked up a very nice 99 LS400. Mine is Silverjade Metallic with Only 109k. These are nice cars. I am amazed at the fuel efficiency when they are driven reasonably. I am learning a lot on this forum about proper maintainance. Thanks to all who help us newer members with questions.I hope to have mine looking similar to the one in this post soon. Darien Illinois
