Need advise...96 ls400 drop...
Has anyone ever cut the stock coils on ls400 and do you recommend..Its been contemplating in my mind just cutting the coils or heating them I want to do air ride end of year but rather save money on coils or coil overs....Thanks

Never do that.
Your stock springs have a specific spring constant, or a constant amount of force to compress them by a given distance.
Cutting them pretty much ruins them and is why drop springs have a higher spring constant.
Heating them is also asking for trouble. It could temper the metal making the springs brittle and possibly casusing one to break in the future.

I have the stock a/s on mines but i am opting to goin to coilovers.. After I installed my 20's the left side is 1" lower then the other side n I don't want to see me car someday on da ground n airbags failed..
