And i had one question, my celsior is a "UCF-11 " frame ? not a 10, and i was wondering if the rear wheel bearings on my Celsior would be the same as an ls400 ? Im going to have to get the rear passenger side done soon and i was worried about parts being transerrable over from car to car .

thanks!
ucf11 means it has air bags and ucf10 doesn't have air bags. Other than that i think everything else is the same but not 100% sure.

The fender pole is also different to mine then, all mine does is extend to just above the hood level to assist moving out of tight spaces.
UCF10 is non air UCF11 is air suspension.
The bearings are the same as the LS400
Mine is a UCF10 but still has the TEMS.

Great find!!! Air Suspension and no sunroof? I can deal with the cloth seats but idk about not having a sunroof in a ls400 hahaha. Still that's a gem!

Sweet ! thanks . I'm bringing my car into service at my dealership on wednesday and I am getting my rear wheel noise checked out and it might lead to a wheel bearing job so i just wanted to make sure.

good find! and glad to see another Celsior owner on here.

hopefully the servise appointment goes well. be sure to get them to check your hoses (fuel/coolant/etc) too. if its been sitting for a while you dont want all that sludge build up to be pushed where it shouldnt be.

really? there's a fair few of them up in canada, along with starlets and skylines and sylvias galore...

they have an import law that makes sense (15 years) whereas we're stuck with 25 years for federal import and pre '75 to pass cali smog.

between 5000 and 8000 JDM cars are imported to Canada per year. there are many Celsiors, Aristo's, and Soarers.

Service ended up going okay, but after two long days of added despair and stress . :S

I took it in for an oil change and for them to look at this wheel vibration ( which i thought was a wheel bearing ) and they took it for a test and told me no, its not the wheel bearing. Then they started to say it could be my driveline, and possibly my diff ! By this time i am freaking out , worried sick about how much this is going to cost! so i took it to Toyota to get a second opinion, and they also told me it could be the diff . So im pretty choked, then i get a call from toyota again and they said after they put it on the hoist and checked, its not my diff! its the ****ing ****ty tires! so all this time im freaking out and all along the problem is FUZION tires. God damnit. Alot of worrying for no reason :P

At least now i know i am okay!! Whew...

never knew this! thanks for the lesson.

and to the OP, the diff cannot possibly go out at that mileage unless it was drained of fluid and ran. they are pretty solid to my understanding. funny i would think the car would still have the original tires, unless the dealer changed them.

Yeah the dealer had to put on DOT approved tires to sell me the car legally so obviously he got the cheapest ones :P
