Celsior/LS400 mirror glass
My Celsior driver's side mirror (right side) got smashed.
Can I use an LS400 passenger side mirror glass as a replacement?
I really am not sure of the exact differences between the two, but I searched and saw that there are differences.

Ok, so I bought a 90-92 LS400 entire side mirror on ebay, and used the mirror glass only on the 93 Celsior.
Comparison: fitment is the same, but there are two black tabs at the back of the LS400 mirror glass which I had to cut out from the glass for the Celsior aiming mechanism to work.
The wiring is different, there are four wires on the Celsior, but only two wires on the LS400 mirror for the heater. I just left it disconnected. (I live in the tropics, not much need for heaters lol)
So for those looking for a $20 OEM-like fitment for the Celsiors, this is an option.

the difference will be the perceived distance. you know, the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear".
the LS400 passenger mirror will be this type of convex mirror. the Celsior drivers mirror will not.

I don't think you can put driver's side mirror glass in passenger side, the glass is oblong the opposite way. I presume the mirror you bought was driver's side? I recently bought a mirror from a '93 not realizing it was different than my recently acquired '96 so now i have a passenger mirror for an early 90's and need one for a late 90's. My bad for not researching. Ughh.

^^^The Celsior is a right-hand drive, so I used the passenger side from a left hand drive LS400 as the drivers side mirror in a right hand drive Celsior.
Boyscout, thanks for pointing that out, I didn't notice much difference, but I will take a closer look at it.
