Clicking sound with shifter in park and emergency brake on?
When I have the car in park and the emergency brake on.
I press the brake pedal I hear a click at the shifter?
Is this normal? Just noticed it.

Okay pulled the cover off the shift lever. The click sound is the lever that moves the shift lock. So when you press the brake. The lever moves the shift lock that allows you to move out of park.
Same as you pressing the "shift lock" button manually.
I dw40 the lever and it muffles the click abit lol.
Looks to me its normal and its doing its job.
Can someone confirm?
