LS 460 Wheels on 91 LS 400
Hello,
First post and I like the website. A lot of helpful people.
I bought a 91 LS 400 a few days ago and while looking for new wheels and tires, I came across a great deal for 2011 LS 460 wheels. I bough them and would like to run them on my car, but if it doesn't work i can sell them for a small profit.
I already know that the LS 460 bolt pattern is 5*120, while my car is 5*114.5. My question is whether someone on the forum has run a 5*120 wheels with adapters, and if so, which.
Any comments appreciated. I'll try to snap a pic hopefully with the new wheels when all is said and done.
Thanks,
Brian

some GS guys have run OEM BMW wheels with adapters, but it's going to look VERY aggressive, so the car would have to be lowered/cambered/fender mods to work right. If you bought them for your stock height car you're out of luck, as by the time you factor the spacers in (unless you get a very expensive thin (15mm) set made) they'll be sticking out quite far.

I just put the wheels up against the car and they sort of look too flashy for my taste.

If you want a digital edited version of wheels, try this forum. There may already be a pic done:
