Windshield washer warning light
What would you check if your reserviour was full of fluid and the warning light would not go out? Where is the "monitor" located?

Most sensors for fluids are float type devices.
I think it is behind and down below the drivers head lights
I removed my headlights before and seem to remember them
there, try looking up from underneath up after removing
the splash shield.
Anyways , most can be lubed or cleaned and the work fine after that.

gebo,
On my '90 LS400, the coolant sensor is located on the top of the clear plastic coolant reservoir located on the driver's side, just to the left of the cap to add coolant. There is a large black rubber cap covering the screw in sensor assembly - two wires lead down the back side of the reservoir. Everything is right on top and very easy to replace. Unplug the wires and unscrew the old sensor, install the new sensor and plug in the wires. Very easy. It appears to be a magnetic float switch...IIRC, the sensor was $30 or so, but it was a few years ago...
I see you have a 1998 LS 400 & 2000 GS 300 listed in your profile. I don't have a clue if the set up is the same for those cars...
