No electrical power at all! Help!
Just got done replacing the brake booster and have no electrical power at all! Everything was working fine before I replaced the booster, no problems at all. Get all done with the job, put the key in and no power to anything on the vehicle. Its as if there is no battery in the car at all. I have checked the voltage to the battery and it is fine, checked all fuses under hood and under the dash and all are good. I pulled the telescopic steering wheel module underneath the dash to get to one of the nuts on the booster but have that all hooked back up as well and still have nothing! Please help, I have no idea if I shorted something or am overlooking something simple!

It is a 1998 LS 400, I just rechecked all of the harnesses under the dash and can not find anything loose or unplugged. I pulled the telescopic steering wheel module again too and checked everything up behind it with no luck. I really have no idea where to even look for the problem now!

pulled a few more panels off of the driver side dash board to double check connections and still can not find anything. I also went back and double checked battery voltage and all fuses including the 120 amp main fuse and still have found nothing wrong. Any other ideas of what this could be?!

Well I have been searching for the past couple hours and have still come up empty handed. Is there a main wire or connector that supplies power to the entire car? No lights, switches, the remote unlock does not work, and I cant even get the car out of park to move it out of the way. Please, any suggestions are appreciated!

is battery voltage getting to the fuses with the ignition on? Is there 12v between the battery positive terminal and the engine? How about between the + battery terminal and the body? If you didn't disconnect the negative battery cable before you started working on the brake booster, you may have inadvertently shorted something to ground and blew a fusible link in a non-obvious location. The only way to find this is step by step tracing voltage with a multi-meter.

Do you know which wires I should start checking? I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere to know which wires to start probing. Also do you know where the fusible links are located?

it appears, according to my diagram....that the AM1 fusible link controls power to the car.
its in the fusible link block, left side of engine compartment, forward of strut tower.
its a 40a link and though they appear to just simply pull up, the dont. the are bolted in from the side underneath it.
