Any tricks to get the wanter inlet housing out?
I removed the thermostat, tap the inlet housing with rubber hammer on right and left side. the inlet housing move left and right. The gasket between water inlet and the water pump is loose, but the joint (where O-ring sits) between inlet and the engine will never separate. I don't want to hit it very hard to break anything.
Thanks

The O-ring is what's holding it in. I had trouble with mine also. Just to make sure, the manual says remove the 2 by-pass hoses (IAC valve and reservoir tank) from inlet housing, remove the 2 bolts that hold the housing to the water pump, pull out the housing assembly.

I pulled. I even tried to tie it with a rope and pry on the rope. No effects.
I finally figured it out. I hit at the back of the housing with rubber hammer (hitting at back to from direction) and it finally came out.
