Will 265/45/18's fit?
I'll be installing 2005 LS430 18 inch wheels on my '96 LS. Will 265/45/18's fit with the OEM wheel offset?
I quickly searched and didn't find any '95-'97 LS's running the LS430 18 inch wheels with larger than 245's on the factory/OEM height/springs. I did read some previous threads that stated 275's required some work.

If you aren't lowered, it shouldn't be a problem. The rim width is outside the recommended width at 8.5-10, 9" optimal. They will have that fat look. A 265/40-18 is a better match in diameter but you'll need a wider wheel for proper, though conservative fitment.
What tires are you thinking? Tire Rack in the size you listed shows the MichelinPilot HX MXM4 265/45-18 as the only offering. I'd suggest a 245/45 or 245/40 size with the LS430 wheels.

I agree that the 245/40-45 would be the proper tire but, I don't want to spend additional monies if I don't need to.
