Default spring for the throttle

I cleanet my intake and the throttle and when i was getting everything installed back the last thing i should do was to put the spring in place for the throttle and then it said "booooiiiing" and the spring was gone. Down behind the engine, problally on top of the gearbox or something. Theres really not much room and i couldnt find it again. i also checked from under the car with no luck.

So i just thought what the heck, i will just order a new one. i think it will cost much.

But now i phoned my local lexus dealer and he couldnt find it in the system at all

Is it possible that i cant get a new one?

The rpm in P is about 1400 so its crazy high. I think the spring should hold the throttle totally closed and thats why the rpm is so high. What do i do?

You could try probing around with one of those telescopic magnetic tipped probes, with an alloy engine and transmission casing it may lock onto the spring.
Or if you know the approximate size of the original spring try a local engineering shop.

I looked on toyo.diy and the part is not listed it must be part of a complete assembly.
You could try fitting a rubber band as a temporary measure.

Yeah steve i tried with the telescopic magnet but without luck. Also tried from down under. And jep i have been studying lexuspartsnow.com alot and couldt find it either.

I guess i have to mail and call around to hear if someone have an extra. But they usually sell with the engine on ebay etc. So i think this will be a tough one to get.

But i will try and find another spring than can do the job. I dont know how precise it should be to the original.
