I have stock headlight housing and am not planning to upgrade them. Should i go with a 35w or 55w hid? i am going for 4500k hopefully not to blue. any suggestions?

35w should be enough. 4500K with 55w ballasts will look slightly whiter (and less like HIDs) than stock halogens because of the boost in wattage. Go with a higher K rating like 5000K if you're going to use 55w. No matter what color/w you go with, you'll have glare because the headlight housings are not made for HIDs.

Pole Position
35w is digital and 55w is typically analog. Digital will handle power fluctuation better. Yes the 55w is brighter but the 35w runs cooler and will typically allow the bulbs to last longer due to lower heat.
I was running 35w 6k on my LS, nice and bright. If i did it again i would be happy with 6k but would like to see 5k.
+1 on the glare, you might get a few high beams. make sure you adjust after install, that is if your adjustments still work.

As far as colors go, don't get me started. The inconsistencies I've come across in the aftermarket HID/Xenon market are appalling. I've seen people with the, "white with a hint of blue", color that everyone is looking for show me that they've bought as low as 4000k to 8000k to get the exact same color. ugh.
If the color they claim to be 4500k is ACTUALLY 4500k, it should be a very nice pure white, sylvania claims that their silverstar ultras are approximately 4100, and those are nice and white.
There are a lot of threads on here about HIDs, and PD will be here and remind you that these housings are the worst thing for HIDs. Those clear ones I posted will help you get the effect you desire.
Check this link out to read up on HIDs, really good read with lots of good pictures.
As far as 35w vs 55w, I wish I could give more information, but I've seen 35w kits and they are plenty bright, leads me to wonder how much brighter the 55's actually are
Post up pictures no matter what! Good luck!

It is an epidemic to have HID's in lousy baffled/reflector DOT housings. Seems enough don't even aim them reasonably to illuminate the road. Instead, their lights blind other drivers.
I haven't seen a beam pattern on Lexkost/Mike's yet. Hey Mike...post up a drivers view beam shot .
