Ants... Ants...
Ants in the car. Sprayed some bug spray and added some traps. Cleaned and removed any sign of food. Just can't get rid of the Ants.
Anyone ever have this issue? Any advice?

I started to reply yesterday, but I didn't have a good answer and hoped somebody had a better one.
My mom had an ant infesstation in Alabama. They like to live under the carpet (and everywhere else) so poison wouldn't get to them easily. I think your best best would actually be to let the winter kill them off. If you can avoid driving or warming the car in any way for a couple really cold days that might be your best bet. If weather permits, crack your windows so the cold air can get in easier and try to have the car as exposed as possible (Not right next to your house or in a garage. To my knowledge they never got rid of them, just the car but there was literally a colony living in it. That's Alabama for you. Being up in CT the cold may take care of it for you. That's my only thoughts unless you wanted to build a bubble around your car and fill it was bug bombs. Either way, french fries between your seat and center console will bring them right back again so make sure you've got any bits of food out. Hopefully somebody else can provide a more practical and usable suggestion, this was all I had.

The car will provide them a nice place to live out the winter unfortunately. From where you park the car, is there an obvious ant trail? If so, motivate them to take a different path away from the car. I'd put an ant killer around the tires since that will be the place they climb up first. Once you cut that off, with no food inside, this makes it less a place for them to be.
This will be a battle if they have already begun moving in in sufficient numbers. Some natural pesticides would be appropriate since you as well will be inside the car. Hazardous chemicals brrr...

Use Terro Ant Killer. It is a "bait" poison that the ants take back to the nest and kill off the entire colony. I have used it before with good results (in the house, not the car).
