Front End Bottoming Out Solution
From what I am told, the fix for the front end of my UCF20 bottoming out is to cut holes in the wheel well where the ball joints are hitting and fab up little boxes to give myself more travel.
Has anyone done this? Links to a thread, pics etc?
I have searched since i joined this site and can't find exactly what I am looking for.
Car is currently on JIC's this pic will give you an idea of my ride height:

i tried to do this on a 20 today and it was way harder to cut. it's possible my drill wasn't working properly though since it died completely 3/4 of the way through.

I ****ing love you.
That is EXACTLY what I needed to see.
Now please tell me you have re-routed or tucked the harness in the drivers side wheel well, that's the other thing i want to do.
Anyway-

No need for boxes on top ,the hood insulation covers the hole perfectly. just use urethane to seal the layers of metal to keep it from rusting.
Use the control arms strike point to drill from and adjust slightly to get it centered using a pilot hole for the hole saw.

no homo?
i've don't have an issue with rubbing (215/35-18), but generally all you need to do is remove the fender and relocate the harness to the side of the rail. most of the time you can do it without extending wires but i'm not 100% on the 20.
hmmm... i do like beer, but that's a long drive.
