After reading all the comments on the coolant tem sensor for my '92 LS,
I went to the local Toyota dealer to buy a replacement. ( Part# 8942220010)
They quoted me a price of almost $ 90.00 for the Toyota alternative.
This seems high considering I saw a price of less than $50.00 on one of the earlier posts. Is there something wrong here? Thanks for your help.

got mine at autozone. with tax it was less then $25.

screw the dealer, its a coolant temp sensor....doesnt need to be oem.

got mine for $22 including tax at autozone.

Even though it IS the most important sensor that works with your fuel injection, I went with the Autozone one for $22 and I haven't had any trouble with it yet. I don't know who quoted you the $90 but that is outrauges. The OEM is only about $50.
