Low Wiper Fluid? NOT
My "low wiper fluid" light came on when I hit a pothole last week. I have plenty of wiper fluid. In fact, it's full. I fished around with a coat hanger trying to feel for the float with no avail. Also disco'd the battery. That didn't work either.
Any ideas on how to get rid of this annoying alarm? I'd even live without it completely
Th you!

You just bought the car and are ready to let repairs slide?
You might start by checking the connection to the washer fluid level switch since you said it stopped working when you hit a pot hole. Access to it is through the driver's side wheel wheel after removing the wheel well liner enough to get to it -- diagram attached.

the float is known to die after ~10 years, just doesnt really float anymore. if you tried the poke and dislodge method to no avail and don't really care for the alert you could do what i did.
i just disconnected the sending unit and tucked the wire out of harms way. no more alert the sensor can be replaced, but you would i believe need to remove teh whole reservoir and honestly, i dont use my wiper fluid enough anyway.

Thanks folks.
Kansas, it's not that I'm skipping maintenance. In fact I'm pretty picky about it. I manually check my fluids every month. Really don't need it. In fact, never had a car with that feature. My $60k Audi s4 didn't have it.
Thanks for the help

1994 LS400 same problem but...
My '94 LS400 has it's light on with full washer fluid.. I do see something odd in my reservoir though - there is a 1/2" thick and a little over 1" wide strip of white Styrofoam that comes all the way to the top of the filler neck.. I checked the diagram attached in the thread and this doesn't appear to be a part? Is this someone's odd attempt at fixing something with the sensor, and can it be removed? I'd like to know why this Styrofoam piece is in there, maybe when the washer fluid tank was shipped - a replacement part? I'll get a photo when I can.
