you pour coolant into both, but the final top up is done at the fill bolt (a large bolt that points straight down, near the thermostat)

when replacing thermostat, make sure the jiggler hole is in the 12 o'clock position so the system will bleed correctly.

I thought I did, you both were talking about an o-ring, how is yours different from his??

did you identify what o-ring you were looking for??

he wanted the dims of the current o-ring or a possible non-OEM replacement. why not just take the o-ring off and take it to a store and find a replacement?

you can always order it online . sewell lexus has a club lexus discount too!

I was thinking of taking it off but then if I couldn't find one I'd figure I'd get screwed because it's already leaking as is and I assume it would break removing it.

Looking at the pics of the o-ring it doesn't look like a standard one. The inside of it is flat it looks like. I'll try to order from Sewell Lexus, hopefully they ship to Canada.
