Power Steering Problem 1.gen. 93'
Hi Lexus forum,
I know there has been a lot of threads about issues with the Power steering, but I have search and search but couldn't find a solution to my problem.
Car: 1993 LS
Problem: The power steering is hard/stiff to turn especially in the last stage just before lock, seems a bit better when the engine is at higher revs.
Things I have done: Rebuildt PS pump with OEM gasket kit and bearing, changed Air control valve on pump to a new OEM. Flushed the system, cleaned the solonoid in the rack and blead the system.
I have no leaks at all.
After these thing I STILL have hard/stiff power steering
I'm really confused at this point, does anybody know of this problem?
I'm kind a thinking High pressure hose, flow control valve or steering damper
Thanks for any replies

Maybe Checked the price for the high pressure hose at Lexus here in Denmark. It was about 450 US$ !
I'll try to bleed the system for a looooooooong time, someone said the LS is very difficult to get all the air out of the power steering system.
Does anyone have other suggestions
