Rolling front fender help.
I have been needing to roll my front fenders for a while now, and as I looked into it I came across a problem. The wheel-well splash guards are attached to the part of the fender that would be rolled. I talked to my body shop and they said that the fenders couldn't be rolled without losing the splash guards.
Am I missing something, or is there another way of doing this?

Are you talking about the particular strip of plastic that contains the bolts that hold it in place (on the lip of the wheel well)? If so, that bit comes off and the rest of the assembly stays put. Not sure what year yours is, but on my '97, the guy who rolled them popped those pieces off and they rolled just fine.
The splash guards inside the wheel well don't have to come out to my knowledge.

I have a '96, and yes that stip of plastic is what I am talking about.
Ok I think I see what you are saying. So, the black strip comes out (like when my rear fenders were rolled), and then replace the screws into the splash guards. Then the fenders can be rolled.
What the body shop believed is that the splash guards rely on that stip of black plastic to hold it in place. So they didn't touch it.

if it's like a 10 you have to remove the strips, remove the plastic inserts the strip screws into, and remove the screws/clips that hold the fender liner in. when you roll the lip over it will secure the liners in place by pressure. the other option is to remove the liners all together.
