Yes they are DOT approved! I was also shocked that they were when I opened them and saw the stamp on the glass. I was also thinking of a Q45 setup but after looking at the lights that might delete the High Beams as they sit right under the Low Beam. I will way my options when the time comes to do the retro fit.

I just opened my stock headlights to see what projectors can be put in them.So now I will order the clear headlights you got...........I will keep you guys informed as I do the retro.

Those do look excellent. I put on the clear side markers and was impressed, and added HID lights as well. Next will be new headlight reflectors after seeing this.
