Default Against my better judgement.....eBay clear headlights....

Yeah yeah I know what you are thinking as I was thinking the samething. Never buy eBay lights! I thought I would give them a shot as they were cheap and really cost me nothing out of pocket. I sold an old ring that I found a few years back. I was suprised on the quilty of these lights as they bolted right in with no fitment proplems. They are also made out of glass, I was expecting plastic so score for me. After the 15min install I have to say I am happy with them at this point. I do plan to do a custom projector setup down the road but brakes are now my number one priority. Now let's see if they leak.....But leaks I can deal with as it's easy to reseal them. *

Before....

1/2 way there.....

Finished....

They look great. I just bought a set of bumper lights for my 95 LS. They were cheap and look way better than the stock one. The deals I've gotten on Ebay are endless.

loks good, much better than the ucf10 option. not everything on ebay is junk, you just have to know what you're looking for. i've never had any problems with lights other than sellers/bad packaging.

Ok now that it's dark out I wanted to see the beam pattern, looks to be almost spot on to the oem light. I was also suprised how much brighter the headlights are!! I would say 3x as bright as the oem lights. Great mod for only $249 shipped.

I had my eye on a set of those for my 96 but was weary. Also the clear turn signal lenses I do not like on Ebay. All of them seem to be the same. What I'm looking for is a clean lens without all the bling. Does somebody make a set? To the OP, could you post up some night shots?

Thanks, James

Here you go..... Night pics as requested. I tried to get better pics with the headlights on but the iPhone just does not have the compacity to handle that much light output. All you really see is brightness! *

For glass lens, Definitely score! Looks better imo, I don't mind them at all.

I seen thoes on ebay too! They look pretty good! I also assumed they were made out of plastic, but thats even better if they're glass.

This looks soo much better on the UCF20 than on the UCF10/11 version. I actually like them and they don't look bad at all. Not everything on EBAY is junk, as Blkon Blk stated,, you really have to know what you are looking for and looking at. I have gotten some very good deals from ebay without any problems at all.

These would make for some nice HID conversion projects...specially the 430 projector. Does it have the DOT stamped into the glass? I doubt they are street "legal" and wasn't expecting it but was curious anyhow.
