had to replace my battery yesterday. Alternator was charging, battery just wouldn't hold a charge. Put it on the charger, no luck.

So, after the battery being out of the car all day, i replaced with a new one. The normal VSV light came on and went off after a minute, then some strange noises with the heat/air system, then it all was back to normal.

BUT, my low washer fluid warning is on the dash and will not cut off! Checked the fluid level and even added to it to ensure it was full. Been on for 24 hours now.

Any suggestions? There is no way that pulling the battery out would ruin the sensor??!

search, the float is probably either stuck or dead.

Sound's right.
With my 1999 LS400, I ran dry of washer fluid in sub zero weather.
When I filled the reservoir, the low fluid light stayed on.
I poked a hanger into the tank, and must've dislodged the float.

Simple solution, but it was effective.
