Default Trans mount

Well this was long over due.

I knew the trans mount was toast as i could see it was smooched while doing oil changes. I also knew that it was causing crazy vibration but didn't know it was this bad.

Broken mount still attached after removing the crossmember.

I was completely detached from it self. Still stuck on the cross member comparing to new.

Anyone else have it just fall apart this bad? It is a huge difference. It feels great to push on the gas now. No more shaky. Such a cheap and easy fix, i should have done it sooner.

Ya dont think that would really hold. Plus the rubber is pretty flattened which i think caused even more movement and eventually cracked.

Super cheap purchase, $40

Thanks. Parts.com says engine has front and rear mounts, so I presume that is 1 each. But can't find transmission mount under transmission. Would it be the rear engine mount?

Yes, the tranny mount is listed as the rear engine mount. You need one rear mount for the tranny and the two front mounts.

Too bad it's 2 of the pricier one. Just curious what year is your LS? My is a 95. Gone through Lexus Service Manual for 95 LS but could not find an illustration of engine/transmission assembly, so had to ask you here. Thanks.

Mine's a 91 but here's the exploded view of the 1995 mounts. You need two 12361-50010 and one 12371-50060...

Mine was bad. I changed it at 220K and I am sure it was original. I bought mine online for $63. It was OEM Toyota.... about 15 minutes to change if I recall?

See what I mean....
