Whats best for around $800
Megan, Ksport or BC coilovers?

True, True...Just found overwelming results for Megan. Didn't think that it was going to be this easy of a choice $800 for Megans. They are the cheapest and best reviews.

yepp best bang for the buck are the megans. think there are more ppl running megans than any other brand on the LS's.

I have Megans on my '97 and love them. EXCEPT:
Since the temperatures have gotten colder, they are LOUD. As in, every time they compress and rebound, they make a horrid squeaking sound. When I turn the to the right, the front left one pops loudly (but goes away after a bit of driving). It's very, very annoying. When I changed my 20s" out for my stock wheels for winter, I'll see what I can do about it.
But when it was warm, they were silent and performed excellently. Major reduction in body roll, and yet the ride wasn't unbearable.

try greasing the pillowball and lower mounts with SILICONE lubricant (NOT WD-40 or any other petroleum based lube).

BCR and Megan are both good setups.
