Bought my LS400 today... '95
Have been looking for awhile, was about ready to give up for a bit, and then I found one today on CL that had just been posted.
'95 LS400, 157k, 2-owner (Oregon it's entire life), all options except air suspension, nakamichi stereo and factory cell phone. Silver.
Needs A/C compressor (not a high priority in Oregon), hood struts and an alignment. Timing Belt and water pump done at ~130k, new steering rack @ ~140k.
Got it for $3900, he was asking $4500. based on other prices I've seen, I think I did pretty well.

It sounds like a great deal...
Treat the "no air suspension" as a benefit (in general people have problems with it, and it's very expensive to replace).
Do you really need factory cell phone (I took mine out when the car came to me, as I wanted more space in the middle compartment)?
Nakimachi would be nice, but life is not perfect (like nakimachi)
Great buy!
When are you posting some pics?

Looks good i been looking for a nice LS as well currently looking at 93 with a oil leak lol but might can get it on teh cheap. YOu should deff be able to feel the warmth when you turn on the seat heat. I have it on my IS and it gets pretty warm quick so it could be broke.

Clean car. Great price.
These pre-owned LS's are the best bargain on the used car market, which holds true of the LS430s as well. You can pick up a clean LS430 for the price of a new Honda Civic.
Enjoy!

Ya i've kinna discovered that latly these were $50k cars back in the day but now you can get them for nothing. With some upgraded tails and clear corners and descent rims it can really update the look of the car.
