225/40/19 & 235/40/19 OR 235/35/19 & 245/35/19 on 19x9/10??
2000 LS400 stock tire size - 225/60/16
19"x9" & 19"x10" wheels & Megan coilovers
225/40/19 & 235/40/19 - this combo is 2% & 0.9% different from OEM regarding speedo
235/35/19 & 245/35/19 - this combo is 4.3% & 3.3% different from OEM regarding speedo
I see most run the 35 profile tire combo. Should I be concerned about the difference from OEM?
Is there a benefit regarding stretching for either combo?

what are you trying to accomplish? i.e. emilinate rubbing, allow to go lower, better fitment, do what everyone else is doing, etc.
personally i run 215/235 on just about anything and 35 series on 19s, 40 on 18s, 45 on 17s with no regard for oem od. no good reason.

where are you rubbing? i.e. fender at lock, fender under compression, wheel well, etc.
*edit - also, what tire sizes are you currently running?
*double edit - are we talking new wheels and tires or new tires on the wheels you have?

with those offsets i think u should be able to run 235/255 on a 35 series tire with very minimal rubbing
but if you are more concerned about ride quality vs as low as u can make the car with the 19s imo id go with a 40 series tire for a lil more cushion.
roll the fenders and you should be fine

lots of choices but i think your orginal option of 235/245 is a pretty good one. you might be able to get away with more, and could definitely do less, but this one seems in line with what i think you want. fairly mild so safety should only be of mild concern.
