Hey welcome to CL! There is a lot of info here that can help you reach the goals you have for your LS. There are also many vendors here with great prices that can get you what you need.

Pictures up!

So, I did a bid on it and won it at $780 from a small time dealer who sold off donated vehicles... came out to $1,055 after all said and done; still a hell of a deal for me tho. Needs a new rear main seal, and the check engine light is on causing some hesitation. Engine will be pulled this weekend to get all the gaskets, timing belt, water pump, rear main seal, and everything else other than internals to get worked on... should be LONG and FUN! haha...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Greatly appreciated!

Yeah, that is the same one I saw browsing craigslist. That's pretty funny after I bought mine, my friends were all trying to buy one on the cheap, and I think this is one I was after, but since I had already purchased mine, I let it go. Nice find, looks a crap load better than mine, but for $400 I just could pass it up. And for $1000 you can't complain with that one either, however the real main seal is a little bit of a time consuming job. I think it's safe to say it's a 20+ hour job if your not a really skilled tech., plus the arrival time of the parts being orders. Like i mentioned in the the PM (private message), I don't think I would pull the motor from this unless you reeeeeeeeaaally feel like it's necessary. Everything can be done in the car, however the dropping the tranny isn't the most fun on your back, however pulling the engine is no joke either. Good luck, and let me know if I can help. I advice buying OEM parts too.

It's descent, and old.. No major rips or tears though, and everything works. Still have a lot of the service records for it, and the original window with the sticker price of $45k back in '91! haha... It also has the big 'telephone' in the center console, that I thought was the sickest ****... LOL but that's just me...
