Did a tune up recently, not much improvement in MPG!
So I did a full tune up less than a month ago. and I thought that doing one would help out my MPG atleast a little bit.
Ive done the fill up, use some gas, refill then the math about 2-3 times
and i get around 10 MPG. thats NO GOOD. better MPG was one of the main reasons I spent so much money on the tune up
so can ypu guys tell me what else is there to do to get better MPG?
I see people getting about 15-20 MPG whats going on with my car?

to check mpg, fill up and reset ur trip meter to 0. drive until its almost at empty. then fill up and read the mileage on ur trip meter and look at the number of gallons of fuel u put in ur tank. take the miles and divide by the gallons of fuel. for example ill do mine: 250 miles to the tank divided by 17.8 gallons of fuel and that comes out to 14mpg.

yes a FULL tune up
that consisted of everything you mentioned. plugs, wires airfilter, etc. I know all of that was changed because they showed me all the old parts that were in there.
idk about fuel filter though. that i will have to check up on.
these guys are former lexus mechanics and good friends so I think they changed everything they said they would.
