Fogging
Background: 92 LS400 280K
The car had been sitting in the driveway for about 2 weeks due to coolant overflow bottle leakage. After I relpaced the bottle with a used overflow bottle, my windshield and pretty much the whole car is fogging up. I also wash and dried that little accumulator filter while under the hood. It also smells like coolant is coming into the cabin but there's no coolant leak in the engine bay. What could caused this? Heater core?
I had windows opened, defrost and air at high with temperature high or low and/or AC on (AC is not as cold anymore). Still fogging. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have a leaking heater core or some other coolant leak in the heater/defroster system. That may be why you smell coolant. The HVAC fan is blowing the coolant vapors from the leak into the cabin.
Suggestions? Well ... I guess fix it if you can. I've seen this type of problem be the end of an older car since it can be so expensive to tear the dash apart to replace heater parts.

Thanks Jim, I'll try to find a reasonable price heater core from the junk yard when the weather is a little better. I hate to junk this car since it runs so well and I replaced tons of parts already.
