Power Steering Fluid

Owner manuel said power steering uses Dexron II auto transmission fluid. But when I went to the store, I could not find Dexron II but I found Dexron III and the bottle said "Use Dexron III whenever Dexron II is used"

I wonder Dexron II replaced by Dexron III
