body kits
I was looking at some body kits online for the 1st gen ls, and the cheapest one I've seen is $600 for 2 side skirts, front and rear skirt. Has anyone seen any body kits cheaper than that price? My friend said they make clip on body kits, but im not exactly sure what the price is for those, he said $100 but I couldn't find any clip-on body kits on the internet.

ive seen a lot of clean 1st gen with just a lip kit. its going to be hard to find a body kit cheaper than 600 bucks. you wont get the quality that you might expect. you can check out version select. but it looks like a pain to put on. the cheaper the body kit is the harder its going to fit. i know fabolous and junction produce charges a lot, because i HEARD there stuff fits perfectly. Since they use oem molding and etc. you might be able to get away with a cheap body kit. but when you are trying to get it fit and paint might cost you an arm and a leg. thats just my 2 cents

I'm with Purdrifter too:
1.) It's gonna be pretty expensive no matter how you try and get around it, especially if it doesn't fit right. (I was looking at kits online and it was pretty cheap, but after reading mroe, it was gonna cost a couple hundred more for them to make it fit right, and then you had to get it painted...so why not avoid all the hassle and possibly more money, and pay a little bit more.
2.) The cheaper you go, the more likely you're going to have to replace it sooner. (Besides if you have a Lexus, you should be expecting to pay high prices)
