Choice between keeping a 97' or getting a 93'.
What's up CL family, I need your help with a hard descision. I currently have a 1997 LS400, white/beige and it has 156k miles. I still owe $4500 or so on the car. I recently came aross a 1993 LS400, grey/grey, in just as good of condition as my 1997 but it has 111k on it and its only $2999. The guy who has the 93 is also the dealer I bought the 97 from, so I don't have to worry about selling the 97 to get the 93, I would just trade it back and be free of a $400 car note. What do ya'll think. Thanks for all input.
P.S. I owned a 94 LS before and I loved it.

What sort of repairs had the 1993 had during its lifetime? If it hasn't had many of the usual repairs/maintenance, I'd pass, regardless of how it drives right this very moment. Has the timing belt been changed? What about the engine & transmission mounts? Was the cluster lighting ever repaired? What color is the transmission fluid on the dipstick? You need to ask all the questions, regardless of the fact that there is a $4500 difference. It may be worth the peace of mind to stick with what you have if you have any doubts.
