Where to find '92 Chrome center caps?
Hi, I have a 1992 LS400 with stock 15" chrome wheels. The other day one of the chrome center/hub caps came off the car on the freeway...
Do you have any recommendations where to find a replacement chrome center cap (with the gold "L")? On Ebay all the ones I have seen are alloy center caps.
Thank you!

To my knowledge, the first gen LS did not come with CHROME wheels,, only alloys. The wheels you have may be factory, however come from an LS of a later year. Post a pic so we can see what factory wheels you have, and we may be able to further help you.

To the OP- I have no idea what to tell you. You could try calling up somewhere like TAP Recycling or looking on car-part.com, and hopefully you will find something.

Billj747, good morning. I have an LS400, 1993, with chrome wheels. I need the center piece, hub cap. The part number is 95028 and diameter 7 1/2" with a gold "L". Do you have any leads on where I can find this part? Thanks, Bill

Wow, a 4 year old thread. Nice to see that your search skills are in order. The only advice I can give you is check all the junkyards around where you are, but it's gonna be hard to find it in Ca. I remember last year someone from Ca. asked me to check a JY here in Ct. So all through the country the chrome caps are hard to find. If you find one for the 16" wheels, make sure the inside diameter is correct, especially if you get from Ebay b/c there's 2 different sizes.
