Default How to remove side panels on an LS?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the side plastic panels off the LS. I want to get them painted to match the car color and would like them off for that. I'll appreciate any pointers. I don't think lexls.com has a write up, but I'll check again just in case. thanks!

2 nuts on each side of the door (4 per door) you'll see black caps when you open the doors

it will not budge when you undo the nuts because of double sided tape on the inside, it's taped one vertical piece on each edge and 2-rear 3-front horizontal pieces up top

i just gently pryed mine off but weather back then was warmer, now you might have to get a long trimming blade and cut the double tape as you pry off the trim ( that oem tape is pretty tough)

good luck

oh and also, front doors have a row of just snap in clips on the inside so once you undo the tape on the edge(s), just slowly pull on the trim and it will just pop off
