you just gotta know how to drive it (i LOVED my '95)

oh, fresh tires (more tread=less dry grip) and inflating them to ~35-38psi helps make it easier to break the rear end loose but you still wont be getting wheelspin froma standing start unless ur A-in the wet B-asphalted parking lot or C-Brake Torque then LAUNCH (dont do this without a secondary (BIG) trans cooler)

My '92 LS400 will lay a decent patch if the conditions are right. It won't break them loose in a straight line, but if I'm going through a turn or the pavement is wet it will burn for days. Maybe it helps that I have 205/60 15's on stock rims wrapped in some 560 treadwear tires.

Welded diff, anyone?

Yes, I am from Michigan, and I support redneck technology. Though my car is fine for now... so I'm not welding my diff any time soon.

it's retarded of Toyota not to put an LSD in their FLAGSHIP SEDAN.

Anyway, if you want your LS to have some *****, put a supercharger on it.

Why? An LSD doesn't really help much except in high-performance (i.e. racing) applications.

BS. An LSD is always helpful. Why wouldn't you want one? It's not like there's anything negative about having one.

I'm not saying I wouldn't want one. There just isn't a tangible benefit 99% of the time if you're not pushing your car to the limit.
