hey guys ive been lurKing around here for awhile i think this is my first post but my car has air ride or at least the buttons for it. i was looking for some pictures of the struts b/c mine just look like normal struts compared to the remaned ones i see on a couple sites. i was just wondering if a previous owner swapped them out or if that what the OEM air ride struts look like. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Yeah, the pics you display are normal shock/spring combination setup. the air shocks are the ones pictured in the smaller of the pics you posted. Probably previous owner went to shock/spring bombo after air setup quit working since they are rather pricey to replace.

see thats what i figured but when i put the switch on high it raises the car up about an inch

reman non air struts? i guess they are and maybe the height change i see is in the different parking areas. the lights dont come on under the word "HEIGHT" on the dash and neither does the "SPORT" light when i take the button to sport. i guess im gonna look for an aftermarket air ride setup

i found someone that upgraded to coilovers (and will sell me his air ride)and was wondering where the compressors were and the air lines. so i can see if just the air struts were replaced or if the whole system was pulled out. i tried searching but couldnt find anything. thanks in advance.
