HELP Four Warning Dash Lights on !! '90
I have had four lights coming on over the last 2 days , the cat light the radiator light the oil light and the battery light ???
I'm thinking it's either a poor earth somewhere or the dreaded P/S leak and alternator .
Will be having a look today .
Last night coming home when I used the blinker the stereo turned off and the blinker makes the "normal" suspension light go weaker in time with the blinker pulse .
Anybody any better ideas ??

I think when you said poor earth you meant poor ground. that could be the case. When you have strange eletrical problems the first thing you should always check is for a poor ground somewhere. Try taking off the negative terminal on the battery, cleaning it, and reattaching it.

Hate to tell you, but it is the dreaded alternator problem. The same symptoms happened to me recently when my alternator died on my 92LS. Time to change.

I have no power steering pump leaks , however the alternator can still fail , it is after all 170,000 K's and 16 years old .
Bugger , I wonder where I can get the cheapest alternator ??

No battery probs yet , I have a huge battery in place and it's only 3 mths old , it's so big the cover can't go on it !!
I have always believed in fitting the biggest battery that will still fit in the hole . LOL
I think it's cranking slightly slower so tomorrow I will put a meter across it , if it's not charging more than 13.5 volts I will know it's the alternator .
