Hey guys, I have stock aIr suspension in my 96 LS400.
I like the staggered look on these cars, but at the same time I dont want to compromise the mechanicals of my suspension neither the comfortable ride that my stock 225/55/16 gives me.
I was thinking to go with the 19'' VOSSEN 19X9.5 ALL ROUND..
Im therefore wondering if i can use 245 / 45 / 19 comfortably (i.e no fender rubbing or touching issues ) or would the 45 series be too high

thanks guys...
I never considered lowering ..But if its economical i will..
What do I have to do ?
Would it mean that I would have to remove my air suspension in its entirety?

unfortunately your air suspension is on borrowed time, it will eventually fail. this is very common as components will start to leak and replacements are not economical (ie $1000 for just one strut bag). most folks convert to conventional strut/spring, so when doing so it makes most sense to install lowering springs (or full coilovers) at that time. it's really up to you and your budget.

Here is my 1998 LS400. It has 128,000 on it.
The wheels are XXR 962.
Fronts 18x8.5 with 245/45/18
Rears 18x9.5 with 275/40/18
I got the rims new for $421 and the tires were $400
The car is lowered on H&R springs with KYB struts. I cut the rear coils a little bit to give it the stance I wanted.
I have been cutting coil springs for 20 years on my Chevelles and other cars. No problems ever.
