After 3 years finaly got my 19" '92 LS400
well its been a long time since i said that i wanted new rims, just every time it came down to getting rims my tires were shot and i had to get new tires, cause i could not discide on rims, and then just wait next time they go bald again. so to the rims break down, they are:
Venti v56 19" 8.5
Falken 235/35/19
now next of cousre i got to lower it i am thinking about the tanabe, i already changed the shocks about a year ago to kyb shocks, the only thing is i really do not want to roll the fenders and mess up the paint or try messing with factors like that. But would the springs make the camber go in just a bit so if people sat in the back or hitting bumps not make the tire and car touch each other?
thanks

When you lower and spec the alignment, you can have them dial in some -. You will then be on that treadmill of flipping and replacing tires. -1 is pretty mild but tires vary so it may or may not wear that quickly. Shaving the fender in combination with some mild negative camber is your likely choice.

what color do you guy suggest to paint the caliper i was thinking black just cuase i do not want to see those iron rust spots but i photoshoped them red and that looks good too can not discide. plus is it super easy to do it yourself or better to drop it off.

I think it will tuck in if you lower it but it might rub a little so I would take that rubber lining off and roll the fender. I rolled my fenders with a copper pipe (baseball bat method) and the paint was fine...but that doesn't mean yours won't. you can just take a hammer and hit the inner fender up a little so the tire won't rub. You don't have to roll it all the way if you don't want that much stress on the paint

i guess they will be the only option, i have seen websites showing how to roll the fenders and looks like they use a heat gun to soften the metal and paint,LS_4WILL btw what springs do you have?
and any one with 234/35/19-8.5 tires on a 1gen LS400 what did you have to do when you lowered it? the springs you used? and rubbing issues this peole in the back seat or speed bumps?
thanks

I have air suspension and have lowered the car to the ground numerous times. For you, I think you should get 4 of your fattest friends and load up the trunk to see what the car would look like lowered and to see if the wheels will rub. =D
