Unhappy Question about air susp. (1990)

My rear right shock sprung a leak a while back and i have 2 spares in a box but the seller told me that the spares are made specifically for one shock, IE front right, front left...and he said i didnt have the rear right one...is this true? If so should i fork over the 400$ plus installation fee for it or just go all out and replace all 4 with regular suspension? And if so on the all 4, what would be the best ones to get?

Thanks in advance
-Adam

shell out maybe $700 and just do a coil stut conversion from www.strutmasters.com and never worry bout it again.

but i dont think its different side to side, front to back maybe but not side to side.

The LS400 and the Celsior do not have left and right on the front air struts , as the air line in is in the middle there is no left and right and consequently they are not marked , it's easy to tell the struts out of a Crown or an Aristo or even a Soarer as the air line is not in the middle so it follows that they must have a left and right and as such there is a "R" or a "L" stamped in the top of the strut .
I don't know if the rear is the same as I haven't had them out yet .
Think seriously before replacing the air suspension with springs , if you like any kind of comfort stick with air , at US $399.00 each from Arnott Industries they really are great value for money , considering the last for at least 10 years !!
Especially as they offer a lifetime warranty on the airbags , I know of two guys who have gone to coil-overs and then 3 mths later gone back to air .

life time warranty on the bags would be great, wish the ones in there had one!
