Alright so I got my new antenna today and im trying to install it. I can get the motor to release the the white plastic teeth cord thing...... I can pull it almost all the way out but then at the end it retracts a little bit. I have the keys in ACC. I thought that it would just release it when you pull but it doesn't, you dont have to pull hard to get it out do you? I was getting pissed and stoped seeing that I was about to break the motor if I tried pulling it hard. I have an aftermarket headunit so pressing the "am" and "cd" key at the same time doesn't work.

Alright Im going to go give it another try, it comes out all the way but then stops and goes in back a tiny bit

Got it just had to give it a good yank, instructions made it seem like it would just come out on its on
