Hello, i purchased a 98 LS 400 3 days ago, its very nice. Had a 92 LS 400 for three years, but got rid of that a couple of years ago.
This car is a major improvement in power and interior. Almost feels like a sports luxury sedan.
I called and talked to Mohammed at SRT yesterday about TQ converters for this car, its almost too good to mod.....almost
Just wanted to say hi to you all. Are there any meets/get togethers in houston?
Thanks.

Azam, WOW... from your twin turbo terror to an LS400
I am also a frequent reader of LS1.com and I met you once very briefly at Shane Hills shop. How is the Z... or should I say submarine
Anyway, welcome to the club. Let me know if you plan to go to HRP with the Lexus. I have ran mine, 15.4 @ 91 but the 98s are MUCH quicker/faster. Get that torque converter and maybe modify the SRT air intake from the GS400 to fit??? A low 14 second Lexus could make many stock LS1s a little nervous...

Hey!!!! The submarine is doing great actually. Getting some more fuel, will be manually shifting the 4L70-E, the boost will go up too. The 600RWHP daily driver was getting slow...
The Lexus is another story, its almost too nice. Was thinking about fabbing an intake, 100 wet shot, TQ converter and go for 13's. Then again, a big part of me wants to leave it stock and just enjoy the ride. Either way, its an awesome car.

There are not many people with moded LS400's around, so having one would be very unique. Also Lex engine in good contition can take about 150 dry shot. So you can go with 120 wet and be safe.
It would be fun having a car like Lexus at the track with all the SS beasts

Azam, I agree completely with the "just drive it" mentality. I have disected and reconstructed every other car I have owned. I have yet to do ANYTHING to my Lexus. Quite a luxury. Still... a torque converter, intake and NOS would make for a quick LS
