Default Repairing wood paneling on LS (front passenger)

On my 1993 LS400. . .front passenger door. . .where the window controls reside. . .the wood panel piece is loose. . .and it looks like someone tried to clear glue it back down (doesn't look very clean though. . .almost like dried rubber cement. . .and it's not staying in place).

One of my local car friends, who services a ton of post warranty Lexuses, tells me this was a problem with the early LS models.

Could forum readers recommend how I fix this problem?

(Yes, I could take it to a dealer. . .were I to do this. . .what will they tell me. . .what will it cost. . .is there a better way to fix at home, etc?)

Thank you in advance!

Try this.

I had the same problem with my wood trim peeling off. I use that and haven't had any problems with them peeling since. I'd reccomend sanding off the old glue or using an adhesive remover before glueing them back on.
