Were Chrome Wheels standard?
My 92 LS 400 has chrome wheels and gold emblems (unfortunately it came with the car). The spare wheel just has a regular finish. Did LS 400 come with chrome wheels or did former owner chromed it himself. I would really love to remove all the gold emblems.
Any idea how much it might cost?
I noticed that the chrome finish now has greenish tranish on the surface. Any idea how to remove it.

Chrome dosn't tarnish unless there is nicks in the wheel (chrome plating = copper plate then nickel and finally chromium), could be silver plated, who knows?! Best bet would be to media blast the wheels, and from there polish, to your liking, or powder coat them etc.
