92 ES300 phone in 92LS4??
In the classifieds here, there is a 92 ES300 phone only and bracket. Neither the Seller nor I know whether this will fit my 92LS4. I have all the other equipment, just not the bracket and phone and cord where it plugs in in the center console. Anyone know whether his phone will work in my car?
Thanks,
Macc

You might be able to view the phone components on http://techinfo.lexus.com/ -- a one day subscription costs $10. My local dealer parts man told me in 2003 that they had discarded all information about Lexus phone systems - they wanted no part of them and were unwilling to help me order parts.
The old phones were analog which is slated to be discontinued nationwide within several years unless a protest by rural users changes that. Is there a particular reason you want to use this old phone? Analog service can be very difficult (often impossible) to obtain and newer phones offer many more features.
It is fairly easy to install a car kit for a handheld digital phone in an LS400. 95-up LS400's for sure have a mute point under the back of the center console - not sure about the pre-95 LS but I know you can find a mute point somewhere on the OEM phone harness, amp or headunit.
There is a photo in the gallery of my handset in its Nokia cradle mounted on a Kuda phonebase: https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/sh...56577/cat/3365
This particular phone and kit combination provides a 750 phone number directory, voice and speed dialing, charging, auto mute of radio during call, separate wired handset in console for passenger use, and many more features. Way nicer than the old OEM phones.
