I have am '05 LS430 with heated and cooled seats. I would like some feedback the experience anyone may have had with this option.

I live in San Antonio, Tx and I admit that it does get quite hot here. I thought the airconditioned seats would be a nice feature, howver, I have not had a good experience with them. I can not tell the difference when I turn the cooling feature on or off. I do hear the fans blowing when it is on, and some times I can feel a slight cooling effect. But most of the time I don't sense any cooling at all.

I discussed this with the dealer and was told the system is functioning correctly. They said the seats do not produce much of a cooling effect.

Was that info correct? What has been your experience?

Any help would be appreciated.

It sucks! I have not had any luck with the cooling part...but the heater works great!

Well, it might not freeze your back, but at least the back of your shirt isnt soaking wet when you get out from the car like some of us
