There is a ES in the gallery on pg3 bottom left with a Levoc shift ****,will this work with the 1st gen. LS 400.
because nobody knows where to get a wooden shift **** for the 1st gen LS,so i wonder if Levoc has a wooden one so i could replace it with the stock ****.First i need to know if the Levoc would work on the 1st gen. LS.

They do have one and it does fit, but I don't like it because it has some chrome around the wood and thus doesn't match the interior at all.
I believe the price for it is around $120.

Loule,i do not think it looks that bad since it has wood on it,but are you sure Levoc has a wooden one and it will work for our LS's.

Man it is pain trying to find an importer for a bodykit, still no luck, and i am scrambling to get my car done before school starts again.I got about ten things to do on my car and stuff, probably way in over my head.

I like the look of the **** by itself but I don't know about actually IN the car because there's not any other chrome inside. I'd have to see it to really make a decision. I still don't think I'd get it for mine but I don't want to pimp my LS out the same way Edogg does.

Edogg, I saw your car in the gallery. Your $h!t is tight.

Like I said, I like it but there isn't anything chrome in the Lexus.

In my LS there is, below the stick i put a chrome engine plate with the Lexus sign on it and it looks pretty good with the wood. There for i have a square of chorme with a big L on it, i think it would go good with the chrome wooden ****.

Zushwa my car looks okay right now, just wait a month or two,it will completely be a new car.

Wouldn't matter.
Your gonna have to splice into the OD button wires and connect them to the Levoc **** either way because the OEM harness won't fit.
The Levoc **** is made to be universal so it won't have a harness to fit the LS.

Edog, did you ever end up installing the chrome/wood shifter? Did the wood portion match up with the OEM wood well? How was the install and would u recomend it? My shifter needs replacing or recovering, the leather is shot.

TIA
